(Sam's head was a little foggy, his curiosity maybe a little more than peaked. He was too new to this place to know what it was actually capable of. Perhaps it was his hubris at just defeating God that had Sam underestimating the power of this place. )
You don't want to do that. I know you think you do but it won't help.
[He's still in her way and she's not particularly swayed by either his size or his words, so she tries to bodily push past him despite the clearly low odds of that working.]
I don't care. Move. [She growls that last word, trying to shrug off his grip.] Nothing helps here. So logically, I should take the opportunity to balance the equation.
[She snorts in angry disagreement with that. It's easier to ignore all he's telling her and to give into the nagging, burning desire deep inside her to tear, torture, and consume Lucifer.
Again, she'll try and push past the very solid, much larger man. She'll be quite embarrassed later. Until then, he has to manage a small, manic nerd.]
(Sam pursed his lips and wrapped his arms tightly around Velma's upper thighs, lifting her quickly over his shoulder in a caveman hold before moving quickly towards the exit)
[She really doesn't have any genuine time to process that apology before she heaved bodily into the air and slung over Sam's shoulder with a very affronted noise her primary response. The surprise quickly wears off though, and that's when she starts fighting, which consists of her attempting to kick and squirm herself free.]
Hey! HEY! You let me down this instant! [She growls, attempting to grab at any nearby object or person, like a chair or a door frame.]
(The lack of time to process was actually what Sam was counting on because he uses Velma's surprise and his stature to his advantage. He holds on tight and strides towards the door.)
You'll thank me tomorrow. (Spoken tightly as he tried to dodge the doorframes.)
You know what they say about ass-uming?! [Part of her really should be upset that not only that he's manhandling and kidnapping her, but that she's thrown over his shoulder in a dress. The dignity of her situation isn't high on her list of concerns as she starts to struggle in an attempt to wiggle free and get to Lucifer.
Her efforts relatively fruitless, she growls and makes a move to bite him through whatever fancy clothes he's wearing.]
[She makes a frustrated noise, but is not deterred.]
We already had dinner. [Checkmate giant man who is in her way and stopping her from... Something Very Important. It seems the distance from Lucifer has dulled her desires enough to dampen her fight somewhat.
Then he's talking about thanking him tomorrow and her hungry attentions swivel more, clearly intrigued.]
[Especially under the influence of the blood, his reaction didn't go unnoticed, and she perked at his groan. She hummed, nuzzling her face against the curve of his back and wrapping her arms around him while she's still dangling. Conveniently, both of her hands are free and she smoothed them over his stomach and southward.]
(Sam's steps faltered when he felt the press of her lips to his back. Heaven help him, he was only human, at least he hoped he was human. His hand grabbed hers as he felt them skitter over his stomach. )
I... shit... you don't want me, Velma... I know you can multitask... (He remembers)
I don't want you to hate me tomorrow, you understand?
There you go... Ass-uming again. [There's a teasing note in her throaty voice, the distance between her and the temptation of Lucifer aiding in her own mental clarity. Too bad the blood had her focused on a different hunger.]
Words are not what I want you to put in my mouth sir.
[Her lips continue and she bit him again, though this time it's less violent and more of a rough drag of teeth than anything.]
[To be fair, Velma is a pretty ridiculous person sometimes, and Lucifer's blood hadn't helped one bit in normalizing her. A surprised noise departs her when she's placed back with her feet on solid ground and all the blood that had pooled in her head rushing back south, leaving her lightheaded and a bit unbalanced. She reached out and placed her hands on his chest, gripping the fabric there.
In the end, it's his words that furrowed her brow even as she stepped closer to him, for balance.]
You like me? [She shakes her head and released him, only to start trying to get out of her formal attire, at least enough to show him one of several tattoos she had now.] I'm not possessed. I can prove it. There's this tattoo...

But how will you feel after?

Like I'm in Hell. With possible indigestion.

(Sam tries to turn her around. )
You'll thank me tomorrow.

Shit, some days he missed it. He almost stumbled when Velma went to bite him.)
Hey, watch it... I'm not that kind of guy... I require dinner first. You will thank me tomorrow.
Right?

That depends on how you treat me tonight.

Any other night... (muttered softly)
Velma... how about we talk?
no subject
We can talk first. Or during. I can multitask.

I like you, Velma, and I know that you think you want me now but I respect you too much to take advantage. Do you understand?
